About Your Guide

Deborah Ackrich is a certified Nature & Forest Bathing Practitioner through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy (ANFT). As a longtime resident in the Santa Monica Mountains, she deeply values the importance of a healthy relationship with nature, known as “the more-than-human world.”

Deb’s passion is to share the healing practice of Forest Bathing, helping people reconnect with nature’s rhythms, experience wholeness, and recognize the interconnectedness that calls us to care for our Earth and all its beings.

Who is it’s For?

This walk is well-suited for:

  • Overwhelmed professionals and caregivers

  • Creatives and seekers

  • People navigating life transitions

  • Anyone open to slowing down and exploring

Because of the slow, meditative nature of the experience, participants are encouraged to be 12 years and older.


What to Expect?

A grounding welcome to arrive fully in the space

  • Slow, mindful movement through the landscape

  • Invitations for sensory exploration, reflection & play

  • Time for quiet noticing & optional sharing

  • A closing circle, with a forest inspired tisane

The walk lasts approximately 2 hours and requires no special skills or physical exertion.


What to Bring?

To support your comfort, please bring:

  • Comfortable clothing and layers

  • Closed-toe walking shoes

  • Water

  • Sunscreen and/or insect repellent, if desired
